Patchwork is a seven-person software studio. We design, build and maintain web apps, mobile apps and internal tools, and we release working software to you every week.

What we build

Most of our clients come to us with an idea, a half-finished codebase, or a spreadsheet that has quietly become a business-critical system.

Web applications

Customer-facing products, dashboards and portals that load fast, work on any screen and are easy to change later.

TypeScript, React, Next.js, Postgres

Mobile apps

One codebase for iOS and Android, published to both stores, with offline support where your users need it.

React Native, Swift, Kotlin

Internal tools

We replace fragile spreadsheets and manual steps with tools your team actually enjoys opening in the morning.

Python, Django, Retool, Airtable migrations

Rescue and maintenance

Inherited a codebase nobody understands? We audit it, stabilise it, add tests and keep it running.

Code audits, CI/CD, monitoring, upgrades

How a project runs

Every stage ends with something you can click, not a slide deck. You can stop after any of them and keep what we've made.

  1. Discovery1 to 2 weeks

We talk to you and your users, map what already exists, and agree on the smallest version worth releasing.

  2. Clickable prototype1 to 2 weeks

A working prototype on real devices. Problems are cheapest to fix here, so we look for them on purpose.

  3. Weekly releases6 to 16 weeks

Every Friday you get a new build and a short written note: what changed, what's next, and anything we need from you.

  4. Handover or supportOngoing

You get the code, the documentation and the accounts. Keep us on a monthly support plan or take it in-house.

What you can expect from us

These are the promises we put in every contract.

You own everything

The code lives in your repository from day one. No lock-in, no surprise licensing.

Fixed weekly price

You pay per week of work, agreed up front. If scope changes, we tell you before it costs you.

Seniors write the code

The people you meet on the first call are the people who build your product. Meet the team.
